Frisbee

Frisbee

Frisbee is quite simply a fantastic dog!  This 60-pound,
1½-year-old chocolate Lab mix, who was picked up as a stray by the
county shelter, is SO smart and SO eager to please that he's a breeze to
train.  He has learned so much since coming into this foster home and he
has been an amazing houseguest, especially for a dog his
age.   He’s a happy and loving guy whose tail is
ALWAYS  wagging, even on walks.  He hasn't met a person he
didn't like (and he's getting better at not jumping on them).
He's the perfect sidekick to help you with your computer work,
watch TV with you or play fetch in the backyard.  It's a
pleasure to have him around.

Frisbee already knows “sit” and is good at
"wait" when the door opens, and we are working on other
commands.  He is eager to continue learning with a family
willing to help him become the best dog he can be.  He is housebroken,
great in the crate when you need to go out, he sleeps quietly
hrough the night, and he rides beautifully in the car.  When out for a
walk, Frisbee is amazing on a K-9 Transitional Leash–no pulling or zig
zagging.  For such a young pup with an unknown background, Frisbee
has amazingly good house manners!  He knows not to get on the furniture,
and for the most part he picks up only the dog toys that are
available.   He spent a day with 4 year old child and
was nothing but sweet and gentle.

Frisbee chases birds out of the yard so he might chase cats.  We
aren't exactly sure what dogs he likes–this foster home doesn't have
any–so a very slow and controlled introduction is necessary to test that
out.  However, Frisbee would be thrilled to be the only dog in the home
so he can soak up all the love, adventures, and belly rubs you can
provide.

If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and
professional tail-wagger all rolled into one, Frisbee may be your perfect
match. His fosters have really enjoyed having him visit.  To schedule a
meet-and-greet, please text with your full name.
