Boris

Meet Boris! Boris is a 1-year-old black Lab mix weighing 53 pounds. He was
found as a stray in Tucson and made his way to PACC before joining the DLRR
family.

Boris is all puppy with the energy to match! He loves a good game of
fetch, carries his favorite stuffies everywhere, and never turns down a
chance to splash in the kiddie pool. He walks nicely on leash but can get a
little excited and jumpy at times. The good news is he’s eager to
learn, responds well to guidance, and truly wants to please his people.
He’s already picking up on skills like sitting and waiting at
thresholds, and with continued training, he’s going to shine.

While Boris enjoys the company of other calm, respectful dogs with slow,
proper introductions, he is very timid around strangers and can be
overwhelmed in busy environments. Because of this, he would do best in a
calm, patient household with an adopter who is committed to continuing his
training and helping build his confidence. Boris has been working with
DLRR’s behaviorist and has made tremendous progress. To help set him up
for success, his adopter will also receive a complimentary training session
with DLRR’s behaviorist.

Boris is potty trained and enjoys settling down for naps on his bed after
playtime. Most of all, he’s looking for a family that will give him the
stability, patience, and love he needs to continue blossoming into the
wonderful dog we know he can be.
