Hi, I’m Bowie! I’m a 9-month-old, 54-pound yellow Lab mix with
a big smile, a happy-go-lucky personality, and a heart full of love.
Life is one big adventure, and I’m always ready to have
fun—whether that’s playing tug-of-war, chasing my dog friends
around the yard, or taking a refreshing dip in the pool to cool off.

I’m a social guy who absolutely loves other dogs, and I’m
cat-friendly and would like to be snuggle buddies but take cues from claws
when it's not reciprocated. If your cat is comfortable around dogs, we
could be great roommates!

I’m a smart boy and already know my basic commands. I’m also
about 99% potty trained! Like most puppies, I can be a little stubborn
sometimes, so I’ll do best with a family that gives me a consistent
routine, continued training, and a little patience while I finish polishing
my manners. I promise I’m worth it!

I walk nicely on a leash, love chewing on bones, and believe the perfect
day includes playing hard with my dog friends before stretching out for a
well-earned nap to recharge. I’m the perfect mix of goofy and lovable.
Sometimes my feet can’t quite keep up with my enthusiasm, so my clumsy
puppy moments are guaranteed to make you laugh.

My favorite place is wherever my people are. I’d love a home where
someone is around most of the time because I don’t really enjoy being
left alone for long periods. I’m also not much of a fan of the crate,
so I’ll thrive with a family that can continue helping me build
confidence and stick to a predictable routine.

I’m convinced I’m the perfect lap dog—even if my 54
pounds say otherwise! I love being close to my people and will happily lean
against you, cuddle up beside you, or climb into your lap if you’ll let
me.
