Ube

If you've never heard of ube, it's a vibrant purple yam that's
naturally sweet and shows up in everything from ice cream to lattes. Our Ube
isn't purple, but she's every bit as sweet, and honestly, she's
kind of a cute little yam herself.

We were lucky enough to scoop this girl up from the shelter and bring her
into DLRR, and we're so glad we did. Now we're looking for someone
who knows a sweet thing when they see one.

Ube is a 10-month-old yellow Lab/Retriever mix, about 42 pounds, with a
gorgeous coat and pearly white teeth. She's housebroken, kennel trained,
and walks right by your side on a leash. She still needs a little boost
getting into the car (she's learning!), but once she's in, she rides
beautifully. She's great with dogs, cats, and kids, and she's been
well-behaved and non-destructive when left alone for short periods. She loves
being outside, sniffing around, and soaking up the sunshine.

When the adventures wind down, Ube turns into a total cuddle bug.
She's pretty chill for a young Lab, so she's happy to hang out and
keep you company.

Sweet, easygoing, and a little bit of a treat, this yam is ready to find
her people. Could that be you?
