Meet Dodger — A Sweet Boy Looking for His Second Chance 

Sometimes, dogs find themselves needing a new home through absolutely no
fault of their own. That is the heartbreaking situation Dodger is facing.

Dodger was originally adopted from DLRR in January 2021. Sadly, his
beloved owner recently passed away, and no one in the family is able to
provide the care and attention Dodger needs. After losing the person he knew
and loved, Dodger is now looking for a new forever family to help him
begin the next chapter of his life.

Dodger is a handsome 6-year-old yellow male who is smart, non-destructive,
and a loyal companion. He is house trained, knows basic commands and is
easily redirected, he can get a little jumpy when excited. He rides well in
the car, walks nicely on leash without pulling too hard, and is not
dog-reactive.  

Dodger's favorite activites include: fetch, daily walks, and swimming.
He has a nice demeanor and when anxious is vocal, to
let you know he needs some extra attention.  Dodger would
do best with adopters who are able to provide exercise,
companionship, structure, and TLC.  He also has Valley Fever, so
his forever family will need to understand and be prepared to manage this as
part of his care.

Despite all the changes he has experienced, Dodger has so much love left
to give. He deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and truly home
again.
