Lula

Hi there! My name is Talulah, but you can call me Lula.

I’m a 5-year-old purebred yellow Labrador Retriever, and I came to
DLRR after my beloved owner passed away. If you looked up the words
"sweet," "gentle," or "good-natured" in the
dictionary, you’d find my picture right there! I adore everyone I
meet—humans big and small, other dogs, and even cats.

I have a calm and loving personality, and my foster mom says I’m an
absolute joy to have around. I’m fully housebroken, know how to use a
doggy door, and can be trusted in the house. I love lounging on a cozy dog
bed or right by your side. I’m a quiet girl who rarely barks, but I do
love the simple pleasures in life: food, treats, car rides, and leisurely
walks. I ride wonderfully in the car, and although I’m still learning
not to pull on the leash (it’s just so exciting to explore the world!),
I’m eager to please and will get the hang of it with a little practice
and patience.

One thing I’m still getting used to is tile floors—they feel a
bit strange to me! But with some non-slip socks and a few rugs here and
there, I’m gaining confidence every day. I’m not a high-energy
dog, so if you’re looking for a cuddly companion who loves to relax and
be by your side, I might be the perfect match for you.
