Jack

Meet Jack, a 4-year-old Black Lab/Pointer mix who is 70 pounds of pure
muscle, love, and enthusiasm! Jack is the ultimate "work hard, play
hard" companion. He has an incredible zest for life and brings endless
joy and smiles to everyone he meets.

During playtime, Jack is an athlete extraordinaire. He loves to chase
balls, swim, and would thrive in sports like dock diving, agility, or
learning advanced tricks. Because of his inner Olympian, Jack's dream
home includes a swimming pool for refreshing dips and a large yard with
plenty of room to chase after balls. He is incredibly smart and catches onto
new patterns and routines in a flash. But don't let his athletic build
fool you—once playtime is over, Jack's calm and engaging
personality takes over. He is a massive fan of cuddling and wants nothing
more than to be close to his people.

Jack is an absolute dream in the house and around the neighborhood:

Fully house-trained: He confidently uses the dog door and sleeps soundly
on his own bed all through the night.
Crate trained & trustworthy: While he is crate trained, he is also
completely non-destructive when left home alone.
Social butterfly: He is friendly with both people and dogs.
Leash pro: He walks well on a leash and is non-reactive to other dogs on his
walks.
Gentle soul: He has proven to be incredibly gentle and sweet with a visiting
2-year-old toddler.

The only thing Jack is still mastering? He gets a bit overly enthusiastic
about car rides and exploring brand-new places! His foster family has been
working with him on learning to self-soothe and calm his excitement in the
car, and he is making progress.

If you are looking for a loyal, active, and deeply affectionate boy to
complete your family, Jack is ready to steal your heart!
