Lainey

Meet Lainey, a sweet gorgeous 2 1/2 yr old yellow Lab. She’s 72 lbs. of lovable, Labrador lusciousness! Lainey waits politely for meals, takes treats gently, sleeps through the night, and lets you know when she needs to go out. She knows sit, shake, down, wait and is working on stay and come. She is a fast learner and a smart girly. Lainey rides like a pro in the car- jumping in the back seat and laying down. She’s a great cuddler, likes her belly rubbed and happily follows you from room to room, even waiting for you outside the door while you take a shower! She’s been trustworthy in the house for about four hours uncrated, and knows how to be crated too. She absolutely LOVES playing catch with a tennis ball outside or a stuffed toy inside. She enjoys morning and evening walks – a must for this energetic gal. She hasn’t previously been walked on a leash, so she is doing awesome learning to walk without pulling. She gets a little distracted when she sees other dogs and people out on walks, but it’s playful curiosity not reactiveness.

Her previous family had a cat and 2 small children (3 and 5), so we’re told she’s good with cats and kids, although DLRR hasn’t seen this first-hand.
