Esmeralda

Hello Future Family! My name is Esmeralda and yes like a princess puppy!! My Foster Advocate calls me “ESME” , which means Exuberant, Sweet, Magnificent, Everloving! When I first became a part of the “Heidi’s Crew”, I was really shy and scared and I didn’t understand! I even tucked my pretty tail. My helpers would have to coax me out of the kennel. GUESS WHAT? Future family!! I noticed how much effort they put in and I learned to trust them! They would walk, pet and cuddle me. YES! I do love belly rubs! I am becoming a pro on the leash, I don’t pull and extra bonus, I am a good listener.

So I am in a pocket sized Lab! Easily to travel, I enjoy walks and all sorts of toys. I love the outdoors, and would enjoy a cozy bed. I might need an assistant figuring out the doggie door. I will make the effort. I love other dogs and am often curious when they walk by. I don’t know how I feel about cats, but I am sure with slow intros I will be okay.
