Hi there… I’m Freya! A soft-hearted 4-year-old, 52 lb
black lab with a gentle soul and a growing sparkle in my step.

When I first arrived, I’ll admit… I was a little unsure of
everything. I liked my crate—it felt safe—and I spent some time
just quietly observing the world from there. But give me a little patience
(and maybe a kind voice or two), and you’ll see the real me start to
shine.

Now? I greet the day with a wagging tail, a curious nose, and a soft
little “woof woof” just to say good morning.

I love people—like, really love them. While I get along great with
other dogs, I’m more of a “let me sit next to you and be your
girl” kind of companion. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who
just wants to be near you… I’m your match. I have lived with
cats and I respect them.

I’m also a bit of a sensitive gal—especially when it comes to
my tummy. I’ll happily accept treats (who wouldn’t?!), but I do
best with ones that are gentle on my belly. Trust me, I’ll still think
they’re the best thing ever.

My crate is one of my favorite places. I go in and out like a pro, and it
helps me feel calm and secure. Sometimes I’ll bark a little while
I’m in there—just being honest—but I’m learning that
staying calm and settling down is the fastest way to earn my freedom (and
more time with you).

On walks, I could use a little polishing—I get excited and
haven’t totally mastered my leash manners yet. But overall, I’m a
pretty easygoing girl with a calm, quiet demeanor.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, slightly shy but deeply
loving companion… I think we might be perfect for each other.
