Addie

Hi!  My name is Addie. I spent 9 long days at the MCACC where it
was loud, chaotic and VERY scary before nice people from Desert Lab rescued
me. Let me tell you a little about myself cuz' I'm sure you will fall
in love with me! I'm 53 lbs. of sweet, cuddly mush! I'm a bit shy
with a cautious heart and gentle soul. I'm looking for a
"furever" family who will be patient with me and give me a safe
space to land and will give me time to learn to trust you. Once I get to know
I am safe my tail won't stop wagging! I just nee a little time to warm up
to you. I love to play fetch with my stuffies and am usually carrying them
around the house. My foster dad plays and chase me in the grass .I'm so
fast… He can never catch me! I ride well in the car. I don't mind being
crated for a few hours when my foster mom and dad have to leave the house.
(my foster mom thinks I could maybe get into some mischief when left alone
too long by myself.) What can I say??? I'm only 2! I sleep on a dog bed
by my foster mom ,but sometimes I end up on the couch or tile floor where
it's nice and cool. I can be trusted out of my crate at nite cuz' I
don't get into any trouble. I'm a good girl! I'm potty trained. I
know sit and will sit at the door till you tell me it's ok to go in or
out. I am patient when you feed me, and gentle when I take treats. I listen
well and I know what "no" means. I go for a walk every day and
I'm pretty good on the leash. I still pull a little and get excited when
I see other dogs, but my foster mom and dad are helping me learn how to be
the best dog ever walking. I've been going for walks at Lowe's since
it's been so hot and I've  met lots of people. One of my
favorite place to go this summer is Bruster's Ice Cream for a pup cup.
It's a mini waffle cone in a cup!  I'm a big fan! I almost
forgot… I'm looking for a home where I can be the only dog so I can be
the center of your world! Soooo…. If you would like to meet me, text my
