Jack
Hi I’m Jack, a 2 year old chocolate Lab. My foster family tells me
I’m a charming and handsome dude – the only thing missing is a forever
family to call my own. I was surrendered by my original owner due to
allergies. I used to be so itchy and uncomfortable, but now that my
diet’s under control, I am thriving!
My perfect house would be one part adventure and one part chill vibes. I
enjoy the best of both worlds – whether it’s a cozy movie night,
supervising your work-from-home lifestyle, or an adventurous day of activity
and playtime… I’m here for it all! I love car rides, squeaky
toys, playing fetch with a ball, and swimming. I also love cuddling and
lounging. I am energetic and playful at all the appropriate times, and
I’m excellent at chillin’ too.
I am crate trained and know my commands. I am really smart and
treat-motivated so if you want to teach me tricks, I can learn pretty
quickly. My foster family doesn’t have a doggy door but I have visited
family with one and figured it out almost instantly. At my foster home I
politely wait at the back door when I need to go out. If they don’t
notice me, I’ll gently scratch at the door to alert them that I need to
do my business. (Like I said, I’m a smart guy!) I walk decently on a
leash but I do like to stop and smell the flowers and all the other good
smelling things dogs love.
I love all dogs and people. It doesn’t matter if another dog is big
or small, energetic or laid back; I just love to have friends. I can be a
work from home companion and an energetic adventure buddy for hiking and
other activities. Seriously, I love just about everything and
everyone!
I will be your shadow if you’ll let me. I am just a happy boy
looking to live my best life every day. If you’re looking for a loyal
companion who is eager to please, smart, sweet, and all the other good things
you imagine Labs to be, contact my foster family to learn more about me.
