Meet Bowie — an 8-month-old purebred bundle of fun, energy, and
personality! This handsome neutered boy is always ready for his next
adventure, whether that’s splashing in the water, chasing a tennis
ball, or making new dog friends. Bowie absolutely loves to swim and play, and
his goofy, playful spirit is guaranteed to keep you smiling.

Bowie came to DLRR after washing out of service dog training due to a
seizure, but we have not seen any seizures while he's been in our
care. Don’t let that fool you — he’s still an incredibly
smart and loving pup with so much potential. He’s currently working
hard on his basic manners and learning commands like sit, place, stay, yes,
and no. He’ll need a family committed to continuing his training and
helping him grow into the best boy he can be. He also appreciates gentle
reminders that kitchen counters are not snack bars!

One thing Bowie already excels at? Walking on leash! He’s great on
walks and would make an excellent companion for an active home that enjoys
outdoor time and play sessions. Bowie does well with other dogs and thrives
on interaction and fun. His experience with cats is unknown.
