Sarge

Ten-hut! Hi, I’m Sarge and according to my foster mom I am temporary
guardian of the cul-de-sac. If you don't mind I also give kisses upon
meeting you.

I love walks so I can meet new friends and we’re working on my
tendency to want to jump on them. I’ve always lived with another dog
and I don’t like being the only one in the house. I would love to have
a family that already has a brother or sister for me. I cry a bit when
I’m left alone. No crate is needed as I'm very trustworthy.

I am housebroken love going in and out the doggie door to check the
backyard out is fun. Foster mom says I’m a snuggle bug. She also says
I'm one laid back Lab.

Sarge (7), this guy's name sure doesn't describe this tall,
handsome 5 year old, 78 lb. black Lab mix.  He certainly is much
more of a lover than a fighter, that's for sure!  Sarge greets
everyone he meets with big kisses and smiles.  He grew up in a house
full of dogs, so with a proper introduction he is likely to enjoy having a
playmate around.  With that said, we are certain he would equally
appreciate being the king of his own castle.  Not sure how he would do
with cats and younger children may be a concern due to his tendency to
jump up to say hello and when he gets excited.
 
No need to crate this guy, he is completely trustworthy when left
alone.  He is also a great walker on a leash, doesn't pull and loves
to meet new people.  Surprisingly has no interest in the pool, but is
really good in the car.  While he would love to join you in bed at
night, he is content to sleep outside the bedroom and will patiently wait for
you to start his day.
 
If it sounds like Sarge is pretty low maintenance, you would be right. 
He will pretty much hang out with you during day and if invited, will cuddle
up next to you on the couch for some good tv time at night.

If you like your Labs to be affectionate and easy going, Sarge just might
be your guy.  No reason to second guess this one, just reach out to his
foster dad to set a time to meet the next addition to your family!
