Skylar

Skylar (yellow) and Skittles (black) are a bonded pair of 9 year old,
spayed, female labs. They came to DLRR after the death of their previous
owner. Both dogs are very easy going, sweet and gentle. They are house
broken, can use a doggy door, and they get along well with other dogs and
young children. We don’t know about their reactivity to cats. Feeding
time is Skittles’ favorite part of the day. She prances and follows the
bowls as they are put down and begins eating immediately. Skylar is more easy
going about meals and wants a pat on her head before she starts eating. They
love to go on walks and just hang out with their people. They can be left
alone, but of course would much rather have you around. They travel well in
the car. Besides going on walks and at meal time, their favorite activity is
exploring the yard and chasing the resident ground squirrels. Neither dog
likes to swim. They enjoy ear scratches, especially when you wake up in the
morning. Otherwise they are happy just being with you.
