At DLRR, we know that life can bring unexpected challenges. If you need to rehome your Labrador Retriever or know of a Lab in need, our team is here to support you.
We accept Labs from owners who can no longer care for them due to illness, relocation, or the passing of a loved one. We also work with shelters and take in strays or abandoned Labs whenever possible.
As a foster-based rescue, the number of dogs we can take in depends on the availability of foster homes. While we may not always be able to accept a Lab immediately, we will do everything we can to connect you with trusted partners or safe alternatives.
