Teddy is an 8-year-old, 84-pound chocolate lab with the energy and looks of a much younger pup. He’s full of life, and his shiny coat and sweet personality make him a total standout.

Teddy came to DLRR from a loving home with small children. Unfortunately, his family didn’t have enough time to give him the attention he deserves, though it was a tough decision for them. They knew Teddy would thrive in a home where he could be someone’s top priority.

Teddy is also good with other dogs but tends to match their energy or be too much for a submissive dog, so he might be happiest as an only dog where he can soak up all your love and attention.

Now, Teddy isn’t completely perfect (who is?). He does have a fondness for counter surfing and isn’t a fan of cats. But that’s a small price to pay for a dog as loyal, loving, and well-behaved as Teddy.
