Sugar is a 3-year-old, 60 pound spayed yellow Lab who’s as sweet as her name!  She is a perfect mix of sweetness and spunk and would love nothing more than to find her forever family.

This clever girl already knows the command “sit”, and she’s fully housebroken. She’s a pro at using the doggy door and enjoys sleeping on her dog bed tucked in close to her foster’s bed at night, making her a loyal companion. Sugar has settled in beautifully with her canine foster brother, a 7-year old Lab with whom she loves to play. 

If you’re looking for a ball-fetching pro, Sugar’s your girl! She’s happiest when she’s chasing a ball, so grab a chucker to save your arm and stock up on plush toys for her to chew. When playtime is over, Sugar loves to snuggle up for pets and attention, which speaks to her calm and affectionate nature.

She’s also a good car companion, riding nicely in the back seat. She does need a bit of training on the leash and meeting others on walks but that shouldn’t be a problem with this smart girl.  Whether you’re looking for an adventure buddy or a snuggle pal, Sugar is ready to bring plenty of love, loyalty, and laughter into your life.
