Simba Lonely, I’m Ms Lonely, I have nobody, to call my own, so Lonely. Do I sound pathetic?! I am and I need a companion so that I’m not lonely anymore. My DLRR name is Simba but my family called me Madison. I’m a 2 ½ year old black Lab mix. I’m a playful, loving companion and a typical puppy who needs someone to teach me the ways of the world. I’m very energetic, agile and I love to play and run outside. A big yard, lots of running, walking or hiking is a must for me. I love my tennis balls and would play fetch all day. Lots of chew toys and bones are a strong requirement for me so that I don’t chew on things I’m not supposed to. I do know my basic commands like sit, down, leave it, place, wait, let’s go and halt. I was adopted but I didn’t really like the resident dog and we got into some scuffles, so I came back. I’d really prefer to be an only dog. Because I’m pretty energetic, a family with bigger kids is best. I am crate trained but will sometimes complain about it, but with consistency and confidence (and toys) I’ll settle down. I admit I’m pretty afraid of new people, so I’ll take time to warm up, but once you’ve earned my trust, I’ll be your best buddy. I’ve been told the world is not as scary as I think so I’ll need you to have patience with me and socialize me with others very gradually. I just know I’ll figure it out soon. Since I’m special, I’m a Foster to Adopt dog. That means if you are willing to give me a chance, we can go home together and spend time getting to know each other before you commit to adopt me. I’d love to meet you and see if there’s a connection. Call me!
