AARP members, Vinnie here (aka Orville), the well dressed 8-year-old yellow lab you have been looking for. Yes, I admit to letting myself go a bit allowing my weight to get up to 110 pounds, but I share responsibility for that with my previous owners, bless their hearts.  I'm now fully committed to shedding those extra pounds, no more treats (just on special occasions) and keeping to a strict exercise routine (already started with my foster parents) that I expect you to join me in. I LOVE to walk and I'm really good on a leash, so we should be able to get those extra pounds off me in no time.
 
For reason that seem to escape me, many of you seem to be curious on my thoughts regarding the following topics:
 
Dogs:  with a proper introduction, I seem to get along with pretty much all of them
Cats:    to be honest, can't say I remember meeting one, but my previous owner says I do like them
Cars:    I must admit to liking a nice car ride from time to time
Water:  it's my favorite beverage, just don't like swimming in it
Kids:     love them, especially the ones who go home with their parents
 
No reason to have a crate or worry about leaving me alone when you need to leave, it's our home and I will respect it the same way you do.  I don't need a big yard or lots of toys, just keep me current with my exercise routine and show me 1/2 the love I will show you.  If you can do that I promise we will be BFF's (best friends forever).
