Are you looking for an endearing lovable puppy? Then look no further because I’m your guy! I’m the dictionary definition of a 10-month-old pup except that my start in life was a little more challenging because I was left to fend for myself in a park until I was picked up and taken to the county shelter. I’ll admit the barking dogs and noise at the shelter really scared me while I was there but since my freedom ride a week ago, my happy-go-lucky personality, playful and curious nature has emerged to the delight of my foster. She’s always smiling at me and loves to pet my beautiful white coat. I’ve heard the word resilience being used when they talk about me but my favorite description is adorable. Yup, I’ll steal your heart with my playful antics and endless enthusiasm!

I’m loving my new life (although I’m still a bit scared of the big world around me). I’m learning that playing with toys are a blast and that walks can be a super fun activity! I’m potty trained, and have been left uncrated in the house. I like all adults but am a little fearful of children because of their quick movements. Not unlike many young puppies I can be mouthy at times but the good news is that I understand the word, no. I’m learning the command sit and need work on my leash skills. I’m super smart and am a quick leaner but need someone who will spend time training me.  I’d like a canine companion because I’ve enjoyed playing with my foster sibling.  I ride like a champ in the car and am super friendly to other dogs when I’m out on a walk.

I’m a neutered Lab mix with pearly white teeth, a soft fluffy but dense double coat, caramel-colored droopy ears, a black button nose, bright expressive eyes, large paws, and an otter tail that has threads of black and brown. I’m on a dose of Zyrtec to help with my sneezing caused by allergies. I don’t scratch or have inflamed skin but I do have nasal congestion in the morning.

My foster mom thinks I’m the sweetest boy. I’m the whole package – looks, personality, and a heart of gold. Ready for a new “leash” on life?  I know I am!!
