Hey there, I’m Jet!

I’m a 10-month-old, 43-pound bundle of love with a playful spirit and a big heart. I’m up to date on all my vaccines, neutered, and ready to find my forever family!

I came to Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue with my brother Scooter after our previous owner had to surrender us due to a change in their living situation. It was a tough transition, but I’ve adjusted well and really enjoy being around people—I’m always up for some cuddles and attention!

Like any young pup, I’ve got plenty of energy and curiosity, but I’ve been working with a professional trainer and I’ve made amazing progress! I now know basic commands, I’ve learned not to jump on people, and I’m getting really good at walking on a leash. I’m also kennel-trained and know how to use the doggie door. I’m eager to please and love learning new things, so I’d thrive with someone who will keep up with my training and help me continue to grow into the best version of myself.

I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. I also haven’t spent much time around small children—since I’m still learning to manage my excitement, I might be a little too bouncy for the tiniest ones right now.

I haven’t tried swimming yet, but I’m curious about it! I think I might enjoy a splash if given the chance. I’d love an active home where I can play, learn, and snuggle up with my people after a fun-filled day.
