Jack is a 3-year-old, very loving, neutered male who needs an appropriate outlet for his high-energy personality. He has difficulty relaxing but is an excellent sleeper at night, comfortably resting on his dog bed. Jack is laser-focused when it comes to certain toys and activities and never misses an opportunity to swim.

He is most content curling up next to his human and enjoys physical affection. Jack knows basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘bed’ but lacks leash skills. He experiences high anxiety on walks and will need a patient owner willing to work on training him. He is a low shedding dog that seldom barks.

Although Jack gets along well with other dogs, he would thrive best as the only dog in a home where he can follow a consistent routine, build trust, and ultimately become a more relaxed and confident companion. Jack will require someone who has experience with dogs and his working breed tendencies which are highly focused.
