Fiona

DLRR:   Good morning! Would you care to introduce yourself?

Fiona:   Hi! My name is Sweet Baby!

DLRR:   …. I realize that your foster family calls you ‘sweet baby’ a lot, but your name is actually Fiona.

Fiona:   Fiona?  Never heard of her. I’m Sweet Baby!

DLRR:   OK. Well, we would like to get to know more about you. How have you spent your day?

Fiona:   Sleeping. And playing with my foster sister. And sleeping. And eating lots and lots of treats!

DLRR:   Eating lots of treats? Are your foster parents working on training you?

Fiona:   You say training, I say eating treats!

DLRR:   It sounds like you also took some naps today.

Fiona:   In my palace!

DLRR:   Yes, you do have an XL crate since you are part Great Dane and need that extra room for those long legs. Did you go swimming at all today?

Fiona:   Heck no! My foster sister did though!

DLRR:   What did you do instead of swimming?

Fiona:   Hid behind a tree! I’m not going anywhere near that! I think there is something wrong with my foster sister getting in there! That’s not for me!

DLRR:   I see. Swimming isn’t for everyone. Have you met the family cat?

Fiona:   If you mean that little furry thing that won’t play with me then, yes, I have. I like her!

DLRR:   What about kids?

Fiona:   Never liked goats.

DLRR:   That’s good to know, but I was referring to human kids…

Fiona:   I have met some kids and I like them! They are so cute!

DLRR:   That’s wonderful! Do you have a favorite toy?

Fiona:   Stuffies! I love them so much!

DLRR: Tell me more…. what else do you like?

Fiona: Belly rubs are my favorite thing ever! I let people know too – any time they walk by me, I show them my belly to rub!

DLRR:   Well, Fiona – I mean Sweet Baby – thank you for helping us to get to know you!
