Meet Emma – Your Future Best Friend!

Hi there, I’m Emma, a beautiful Chocolate Lab mix with a heart full of love! I’m around 2 years old and weigh about 60 pounds. My foster mom says I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be everyone’s best friend! I really love cuddles—especially butt scratches (they’re my absolute fave!). I was brought into the Page Adoption agency by a kind person who found me wandering the streets. My foster mom thinks I probably had a family before because I’m healthy, calm, and not easily fazed by much. You should see me wiggle with joy! You know what makes me wiggle the most though? The thought that there is a family out there who will love me forever!  

I’ve got all the good dog traits – I’m potty-trained, trustworthy when left alone, and I sleep soundly through the night. I’m also a well-behaved girl and can’t wait to show off my sit and stay (I’m super smart, after all!). My leash manners are excellent, though I do enjoy a little sniffing around—I’m a bit of a detective, you know!

Walks? Oh my gosh, I love walks! The second I see the leash, I can’t help but get all wiggly.  I’m always up for an adventure and would love a daily walk to explore the world with my new family. And if you’re into car rides? I’m your girl! I jump in, lay down, and enjoy the journey—whether it’s a quick trip to the store or a longer road trip, I’m happy to come along. 

I would love to be your one and only because I’m dog selective and let’s face it, having all your attention is the best!

When my foster mom leaves, I might whine a little (because who wouldn’t miss such a great person?), but when she comes home, I give the best hugs ever by wrapping my body around her for a cozy snuggle. I’d love to be with a family that’s home often so we can share all the love and cuddles.

I enjoy curling up on my foster mom’s lap and just hanging out, or taking my retriever stance to watch as balls bounce around when she throws them (though I think it’s a little silly to fetch them back).  Did I mention I love squeaky toys!
