This 2-year-old Lab / Great Pyrenees mix has the kind of sparkling personality that draws everyone in. His engagement is unmatched – whether it’s a game, a walk, or just hanging out where the action is, Daiquiri has to be in the loop. If there’s commotion, he wants to see it (or at least hear it).

True to his guardian breed roots, Daiquiri is quietly confident and, like most dogs of his heritage, naturally steps into the role of alpha. He has had one past instance of trying to dominate another trainer’s dog, but in our care he has shown no unmanageable behaviors – just a balanced mix of leadership and playfulness.

Daiquiri thrives with space to roam and a job to do. He is happiest outside, patrolling the yard, soaking up the sun, and letting the breeze bring him the news of the day. He’s not a fan of being tucked away from the action, and cannot be crated or kenneled with scalable walls – his determination for freedom means he will hurt himself trying to escape.
