Meet Bruno – A Heart Full of Love Ready for a Fresh Start!

Bruno’s story is one of resilience and hope. From just five months old until he was two, he lived outside with little human interaction—receiving only food and water. But despite his past, Bruno is simply amazing.

Now three years old, this stunning 93-pound purebred black Labrador has the sweetest soul. He is kind, loving, and easygoing—proof that rescue dogs aren’t broken; they’ve just been let down by humans. Watching Bruno experience life’s “firsts” will absolutely warm your heart.

Bruno gets along well with other dogs and has a laid-back disposition. Because of his gentle nature, we believe he’d do well with children, though due to his size, older kids might be the best fit. We’re unsure about cats.

Bruno is crate-trained (though, sadly, for all the wrong reasons) and was once housebroken, so he may need a little refresher as he transitions back to living indoors. He rides well in the car, though getting in and out is still a new experience for him. 

Bruno is initially excited on a leash but settles down and walks nicely. However, he is strong, so a confident handler and some training will be beneficial for everyone. He has medium energy and asks for only one thing—love. Lots and lots of love.
