Bruce Meet Bruce – The Sweetest Goofball You’ll Ever Know! Say hello to Bruce, a lovable 9-month-old Labrador Retriever who’s ready to steal your heart and become the newest member of your family! Weighing in at 71 pounds, Bruce is the perfect mix of big cuddles and playful energy. Bruce is an extremely playful pup who absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in a home where he can have a buddy to wrestle and romp around with. Whether it’s chasing toys in the yard or play-bowing to make new friends, Bruce’s joyful energy is contagious. This handsome boy is fully potty trained, crate trained, and very food motivated, which makes him a dream to train. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “nice to meet you” (and yes, he does it with the cutest little paw shake you’ve ever seen!). With just a few treats and some praise, he will also lie down, go to his dog bed, go to his crate, heel, leave it, and stay! Bruce is eager to learn more and please his people. While Bruce does get a little excited on leash and tends to pull slightly at first, he’s been responding very well to training and has already made noticeable improvements. He just needs someone who will continue reinforcing good walking habits—and he’ll gladly do the work for a snack and a smile! Bruce may have a big bark, but don’t let that fool you—he rarely uses it. He’s more focused on tail wags, happy hops, and being close to his people and pup pals. He’s a very happy dog with a big heart who just wants to play, learn, and be loved. If you’re looking for a silly, smart, and affectionate companion who brings life and laughter wherever he goes, Bruce is your guy. He’s ready to find a forever family that will enjoy all of his goofy charm and help him continue growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Bruce would thrive in a home with another energetic dog or two who can keep up with his playful nature. While he does great with his foster family’s 11-month-old baby, he’s a big boy who isn’t always aware of his size, so families with young children should keep that in mind. Bruce has shown absolutely no aggression toward people, dogs, or children, and he does not resource guard. Interested in meeting Bruce?
