Angel

Hi, I am Angel, and I just spent some hard time in the slammer at Casa Grande Animal Control. I was wrongfully accused of being a stray. How can a young, beautiful, healthy, and well-maintained chocolate lab like me end up in a place like that?  It was a challenging week, and your girl had to put on a really tough exterior and use her big dog voice to survive. Then one beautiful Saturday my whole life changed when some really nice volunteers from DLRR saw my true potential and bailed me out of the pen. I was out the door to my new life and ready to forget the past.

Since being sprung DLRR has learned that despite the hard time I endured while in custody, I am a very resilient girl. I am a quintessential lab with a true zest for life and an absolute love of water. With my newfound freedom, I love nothing more than to run around with my squeaky toys, play in the splash pad and baby pool, and soak up attention from people. My tail is always wagging, and I am always down for a belly rub! I would love nothing more than to be adopted into a home who will invest in my training and overall well-being. I seem to have a strong prey drive so no cats or smaller animals would be best in my new home. I am also working on my leash manners. I can be a little mouthy when I see other dogs, mostly out of exuberance and excitability.  So, while it is easy for me to be an only dog, I can get along with other well balanced, less assertive dogs, with a proper slow introduction. My parole officer (foster advocate) has fallen in love with me and told me that she will help me find the best family possible because I am so loving and deserving. Do you believe in love after lock-up? If so, text my parole officer on the bio and let’s start our new life together.
