This handsome guy is Alex! He is a 4 year old, 84 lb. yellow Lab (AKC but not registered). He is very fond of people and is very loving. He is in training and learning manners, boundaries, and how to regulate his impulse control. Alex is good on walks and if you run, he would be a great partner! He is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He is skilled in all his basic commands, place, and a recall. He loves to play and interact with humans. A backyard to run in would be great for him. He likes playing with the water hose but he has never had an opportunity to experience swimming in a pool. He is good with most dogs, but gets excited when meeting and interacting with them and may bark at them. Though children are unknown, he would probably be best with older kids due to his excitability. He loves his toys and often times will destroy them but will have fun doing so!

Alex will need owners that can continue training and have patience for this energetic guy. He has come a long way with training, but is still a bit of a work in progress. He has big potential, he just needs structure, guidance and a family to give him all their love! His trainer will give free lessons to help with a smooth transition into a new family.
