Meet Lucille (Lucy!)

On a scale of one to ten on the cuteness factor, Lucy is a
solid 9½—and honestly, she’s working hard to earn
that last half point every day. People fall for her fast, whether she’s
flashing those beautiful golden eyes, prancing through the yard on her
adorable spotted toes, or dramatically rolling over for a well-earned belly
rub. Her tail wags like a perfectly timed metronome, and her friendly,
lovable nature makes her instantly endearing to everyone she meets.

Lucy is a 2-year-old spayed Lab/GSP mix weighing about 64
pounds, with just the right mix of enthusiasm and heart. She loves her
daily walks and playtime with other friendly dogs, (dogs with  medium to
low energy are best suited for her) and she brings joyful energy to every
doggy game. That said, once her exercise needs are met, she’s perfectly
content to settle in for a nap or cuddle up with her favorite
human(s)—best of both worlds!

Like many young dogs, Lucy still has a few puppy-like behaviors,
especially when she gets excited with her people or four-legged friends. The
good news? She’s a quick learner, responds well to correction, and
has that classic Lab desire to please. With consistent boundaries and
structure, she continues to make great progress.

Lucy will thrive in an environment  providing daily
exercise, guidance and enrichment. A large, securely fenced
yard where she can run and play would be ideal.

She’s already got a great foundation:

    •    Walks well on a K9
transitional leash or no-pull chest harness        
  

    •    Knows sit and has good
name re-call to “Lucy”

    •    Potty trained

    •    Rides well in the car

    •    Is 90% crate trained and
sleeps comfortably in her crate at night

Lucy is looking for an active, committed home that will continue
to help her shine. If you’re ready for a loyal, playful, affectionate
