Louise’s Story

Hello, my name is Louise, but my forever mama calls me Weezie. I think that fits me really well. This past winter I was found wandering in a rural desert area with my buddy, Thelma. The kind lady who took us in said that humans often dump their dogs in that area. I just don’t understand that. The kind lady took care of us while she tried and tried to find our owners, but had no success. That is when she contacted DLRR to see if they could help us find a new home. Unfortunately my buddy Thelma ended up being very sick, and the vet was unable to save her, so she is now running free at the Rainbow Bridge. I really loved Thelma and missed her a lot when she went to the Bridge, so I am very happy that my new forever family has a Lab doggy sibling for me. I just love her, too.
