Hi.  I’m Meep, a sweet beautiful pup.  

I love hanging with my foster dad. I especially enjoy the 5 miles of walks/hikes that we’ve been averaging each day. My foster dad says I walk well on the leash and I enjoy meeting other humans and dogs while on our ventures. I also enjoy sitting beside my foster dad while he works from home on his computer. I get plenty of attention and treats there.  I sleep the whole night on a dog bed adjacent to his bed. I enjoy playing with toys. I’ve not had an accident in the house.

I am a pup and am only 1 or 2 years old. So, yes, I occasionally get up on the counters to see what my dad is preparing for us and intends to share with me. I also occasionally jump up meeting someone that I know and has been playful with me. In any event, I listen when my foster dad tells me to get down.  I’m occasionally a bit mouthy when we’re playing and I’ve been known to put a dent or two on the TV remote and the broom handle. (They’re delicious by the way!!) My preference is that my human never leave the house but I’m getting better with regard to the time that I have been alone.  I do sometimes get scared when I hear a loud truck or motorcycle or hear the golf course sprinklers turn on. 

I think I’d like to have another dog to pal around with in my new home.  I’ll bet another dog would show me the ropes on doing things that are still a bit perplexing or even scary to me – like playing in a pool and quickly jumping into a car. I’ll bet we’d be bffs.

Weigh 59 lbs 
Medium energy – which is likely best for older children
Equally love humans and dogs (haven’t met many kitties yet to know if I like them!)
Wanting to find a family of my own.
