Callie Callie is a smart, affectionate, purebred 8 week old yellow Lab puppy. A little more active than her brother Bartholomew, she’s a typical puppy who wants to chew and wrestle and play and investigate! They recently learned how to use the dog door (but not exactly why), but they don’t like when it flaps back in their face. They are taken out frequently for supervised visits in the yard, and there has been very little pooping in their pen – they prefer to “go” outside. They sleep in their pen happily all night, and love the soft dog bed in there. They enjoy playing with their mom and our 2 dogs, and love to be out in the yard with the big dogs. They are eating solid food – Purina Puppy Chow Large Breed, and are fully weaned now. The puppies are purebred – we have a litter certificate from their mother, who was not registered, and a pedigree from their father, now deceased, who was a black Lab. They will be available as foster-to-adopt after November 19th, when they will be 8 weeks old. The adoption will become final after her spay surgery. Callie has received her first shots, microchip and dewormer at Prescott Animal Hospital, and her second and third shots are due December 3rd and December 24th. She will need a home where someone is home most of the day, and will require patient structured training to become the best dog she can be! Callie is being fostered in Prescott. Callie and her brother have been a joy to foster, and will be excellent pets!
